Dear Alyssa,

In the last couple of months you have really taken off crawling. It's almost like you've learned to run on your knees!
You can also stand up to things and walk around them. Last week we decided to give you your Christmas present. We bought you a learning walker. At first all you wanted to do was play with the toys on it, and when Daddy tried to get you to stand up to it, you weren't so sure because it's on wheels and it would move. After about 5 minutes you were running up and down the hall with it! It is so fun to watch you.
You are such a little funny girl. You think it is so funny when someone tells you 'Ouch!' You laugh your little head off. And we can do it over and over and you still think it's funny!
I truly can't believe that you are going to be 1 year old next month. You have grown so fast. Too fast. You are quickly becoming a toddler, no longer my 'baby'. I will have to remember to cuddle you and rock you and love you, as much as I can in the next few years. All to soon you will not want to be cuddled anymore, and you will be running with your sisters playing barbies and making messes.
I love you so much.
Love,
Mommy

Look at those blue blue eyes!

Almost 1!

When we put you up to your walker you RAN as fast as you could!
