Dear Alyssa,
You had you very first Christmas! And let me tell you what, for never opening a present before, you knew just what to do. You were a pro. You loved the new little dolly that you go from Santa. Also, you had your 1st birthday! I can't believe you're one already. You have grown up so much. You love to play pat a cake still, and have got the rolling part down perfect. When we start to sing it you will skip over the patting and right onto rolling it. You have really started jabbering. It's like you know what you're saying, you just can't get it out. But you have learned to say 'uh oh.' You think it's fun to drop your sippy cup off of the high chair tray and say 'uh oh,' so that we will come pick it up. On your birthday, we really started helping you walk and you would take 2 steps between me and Dad. Now you are walking 1/2 way across the room, but you still like to crawl best. Although, when you do decide to walk, you get so excited that you start clapping at yourself. It is sooo funny! You are so cute! You love to be with your sisters. You follow them all over the house. Another thing you like to do is take a bath. You splash and lay on your tummy. You think it is so funny to put your mouth in the water and try to drink the water. You also think it's funny when I rinse your hair and the water goes down your face. You have just recently started filling up the cup in the tub with water and trying to dump it on your self. You have 4 teeth, and boy are they sharp! It hurts so bad if you ever bite my finger. You are still a very smiley happy girl. You are such a joy to be around. The only time you cry is if your hungry or tired or if you got hurt. We are very lucky to have such a happy, healthy, smiley baby in our home.
I love you.
Love,
Mommy

My, how that picture of Alyssa brings back memories. How the time does fly. It seems like only yesterday, yet you are growing up to be such a big girl! And just beautiful! We love you!
